To add your child(ren) onto the Hitchin Fun Club’s Waiting List for the After School Club please complete the form below. To be eligible your child must be attending Highbury School. Please complete a separate submission for each child. Further details can be found beneath this form.

Deposit

£20.00 (per child) retainer fee deposit will be deducted from your first invoice upon starting. Please see details beneath this form for further detials.

Waiting list details

The After School Club for children aged 4-8 years

(must be attending full-time school)

 

General Information

We currently accommodate children from Highbury. Children must be attending full-time school.

On arrival at Fun Club, children are offered fruit and vegetables.   There is also the option of an additional snack for a small fee.

Children can enjoy indoor and outdoor games, projects, art and craft, board games and imaginary play equipment

All Registration Forms will need to be completed before starting.

Opening Times

The After School Club is open during the term-time of Highbury School (excluding Bank Holidays). The Club is usually open on inset days, depending on an acceptable amount of children attending.

We are open during school terms from school finish to 6pm. There is an option to collect children by 5pm also, at a reduced daily fee.

Waiting List

Upon receipt of a completed Waiting List Form and fee(s) your child(ren) will be placed on our Waiting List. Parents/Carers will be contacted when near to a time that we could offer you a place. (Please feel free to email us at any time for an update, however, we cannot tell you when your child will be offered a place.) 

It is advisable to put your child(ren) on the Waiting List as soon as possible and there is no guarantee of a place. A retainer of £20 per child will be charged which is refundable upon starting or if you choose to be removed from the list, up to the child turning 8 years old.

Term-time: 

Collection by 5pm: £9.15       Collection by 6pm: £13.40

 

The following discounts also apply:

10% discount for one child over 10 hours per week

15% discount for 2 children over 10 hours per week, per child

20% discount for 3 children over 10 hours per week, per child

 

Payment

An invoice will be processed for the beginning of each month. A deposit of one month’s attendance will be required when starting. Cleared payment to be paid by the 14th (or before if a weekend) of each month.   (banks transfer, childcare vouchers, tax free payments or Paypal directly into an HFC After School Account will be accepted).

 

Holidays

We also operate a Holiday Club but this is booked on a first-come, first-served basis, i.e. no waiting list necessary.

  • The current charge is £33 per day plus the cost of any outing/special activities. All will be listed on our Programme of Activities/Booking forms.
  • The Holiday Club is open from 7:45am - 6pm.
